Clarissa CA uses a secondary seal in the rotating unit; an elastomeric bellows enables the seal to absorb vibrations, ensuring the best reinforced sealing. Clarissa CA also benefits from a quench gland that maintains cleaning and extends the life utility of the mechanical seal in operation.

With a fully preassembled cartridge design, Clarissa CA offers trouble-free installation on any equipment. As a single cartridge seal, independent of the direction of rotation, it is designed for all conventional stuffing boxes: ANSI, ISO, and DIN process pumps. Clarissa CA is suitable for a wide range of applications including water, steam, chemicals, corrosives, and general services.

Clarissa CA offers a universal gland that includes flush, quench, and drain, for perfect control of the seal’s environment. The flush multi-port system ensures optimal cooling and lubrication of the faces, reducing thermal distortion. Clarissa CA does not have a dynamic O-ring! Elastomeric bellows compensate for shaft deflection & axial movement, thus minimizing the possibility of seal faces hang-up—the single biggest reason for seal failure. Clarissa CA’s big single spring is virtually impossible to clog.
